I’m about 3/4 through a Valente book right now (Habitation of the Blessed). It’s poetic and dreamy and endlessly creative, but it’s also languorously paced and I’m having trouble getting motivated to finish it. The next book in my queue is (non-fiction) about printshops after the Russian Revolution. So it’s kind of weird to me that this is Valente’s new book,...
