Our compatriots went all out decorating the office in their honor—these capys were my contribution.

Though it all paled in comparison to this amazing cardboard stand-up by Nicole Terzic.

A couple months ago, notorious fraudsters IODA tried to claim copyright over my film The Problem of Laika-23 for no apparent reason.  They ignored my emails and phone calls for days, so I showed up at their office, talked my way into the building and slid a letter under the door.  They immediately backed down.

I never had to actually get in anyone’s face, so I greatly admire this blogger for holding his ground against these plagiarists.

It’s so funny how since they’re cute and old they can’t fathom that stealing other people’s work isn’t ok.  Perhaps he could’ve explained it better, making a comparison to how you would have to pay to run an article from AP or Reuters, for example.

Also, just like the IODA fraudsters, they backed down in a way that only makes sense if they know they’re completely in the wrong, but they would never admit it.
